Also...

Around 400 people (inc. kids, pups and an ecstatic catering free committee)
had a normal Murrah Night last Sat (8th Feb 2020).
Actually, the writer is lying.
Not about the numbers
and not really about the normal.
Or the Committee's state.

For all of us, it was the first time that normality & Murrah ususality had
happened since last year.
The lie is the date's implication - from last year to a beginning to this
year. It was possibly something more encompassing than a reindeer hissy
fit.

Fortunately, we had the perfect artists, Gabadoo & the Strides to play us
into unbridled dance mode. For free.
Equally, fortunately (perfectly?), we had World Central Kitchen serving
their exquisite survival cuisine enjoyed by thousands locally over roughly
the same time frame, feeding everyone attending - for free.
The writer notes that at this point the word, "for" has been used three
times, and assures his audience that a fourth appearance is unlikely.

And the Hall Delivered!
We laughed, we talked, we danced
and
felt normal, relieved, lighter.
On behalf of the Hall: thanks to Gabadoo, the Strides, Phil, Grace, Rosie,
the marquee guy, Bermagui Beach Hotel and obviously Sam, Elsa and the World
Central Kitchen crew but especially to you who attended to create a magic
'normal'.

For you who didn't - we were thinking of you. Really. Murrah audiences are
not selfish.
You were where you needed to be.
Safe on the night.

Gratitude to all
