[Bermagui Community] Astronomy experience

Hi Astronomy Buffs,

I’m looking for people in the local area with some astronomy experience or equipment who might be willing to provide some advice to me.  I was contemplating starting some stargazing but don’t have binoculars or telescope and was wondering what choice to make.  I have a technical background and have done a bit of reading, but it’d be great to have some guidance from locals.
