!!!!!! Light Up Cobargo !!!!!!
On Friday December 7th the village of Cobargo will light up a summer evening along the Princes Highway with extended shopping hours, market stalls, street food, plants, crafts, street music and a visit from Santa. This will be the town's third annual Street Festival. Beginning around 5pm, the festivities will continue until after dark.

Last year, the firies sounded their siren and cooked a few sausages, some heifers with antlers ran along the road, children whispered wishes in Santa's ear, businesses decorated their windows, Xmas lights twinkled, a movie played down a laneway, a choir of children's voices sang, a fabulous band from south of the border played and we had chai, dumplings and laughter.
So come along and see what the community of Cobargo turns on this year to celebrate summer and friendship in a time of giving and community.
