[Bermagui Community] Yuin Folk Club Concerts: October

Hi all

There are two great Yuin Folk Club concerts coming up this month:

When *Richard Gilewitz* told his parents he wanted to be a drummer, they
bought him a guitar. The rest, as they say, is history. This magical
American master of the 12 and 6 string guitars will entertain us with his
music and stories at the Cobargo Hotel restaurant from 2 pm on Sunday,
October 14th. Tickets $20 non members; $15 club members, available at the
door. There may even be some ukulele fun. Love to have your company.

Then on Wed 24th Oct at 7pm Andrew Clermont is making a return visit to
Cobargo with *The Apostle String Band*, appearing at the School of Arts
Hall. Those of you who made it to see Clermont with Totally Gourdgeous
earlier this year will remember what a terrific night of entertainment he
delivered.

"The Apostle String Band — Pete Fidler, Paul Wookey & Andrew gather a short
history of the western world of music. Epic in their contributions to
acoustic music in Australia and a few world parts, they are champions &
high demand session players of their musical instruments and perform
seamlessly reflecting their 30 years of association in harmony and song. *Pete
Fidler* - Dobro (slide guitar) with new CD and recent remake of Dark Side
of the Moon - Pink Floyd(!); *Paul Wookey* - renowned for his
incredible Blues to early Country delivery including many 60s &
70s classics;  *Clermont*'s fiery Fiddle, Mandolin & Guitar. Plus *James
Gillard* - Double Bass & Tenor Voice - not only member to the Oz Bluegrass
All Stars in the 90s but also soaked in The Fargone Beauties, Mondo Rock &
Richard Clapton Band!!  A soaring presentation - not to be missed."
