Corunna Forest is calling to save the eagle and Masked Owl breeding
grounds......

Call to BLOCKADE Forest Corp
At Corunna, for very valid reasons!

Ok folks....concerns over Corunna Logging got 2 separate mentions in
Parliament yesterday. (See Corunna Forest fb page for details).

Great timing, as we are beginning daily 6-9.30am BLOCKADE OF ALL
ENTRANCES...at Corunna

Starting Tomorrow-FRIDAY 19th & Sat/mon/tues/wed and every day there after
(except sundays)

PLEASE copy & send this out to your Forest loving phone contacts...

Please join (or send your friends if you can’t) for this no arrest,
peaceful, slow down FC and “get media attention” action. We expect police
to arrive at around 9.30 and shall move our cars when asked to!

Simply park and lock your car in one of the entrances (we will help direct
you to them) and we hope to have multiple people at each or bring your
Cuppa to the main meeting entrance - hold your phone up and let forest
staff know you are recording to ensure no bad behaviour from them!

This is a Forest action RED ALERT! For Corunna, for the next Forest we
focus on, to say NO to the renewed RFAs... Please share with those you know
are supportive.

Bring banners, signs, friends. Media will be there.

In a nutshell: The current harvesting of the forest is bordering on illegal
after sighting of the endangered masked owl, and threatens the health of
both Corunna and Tilba Tilba lakes. Science has also proven that logged
native forests are at higher risk of bushfires and with climate change and
proposed new forestry laws, its vital we act now to protect our forests!
