[Bermagui Community] Next Cobargo Seed Savers & Divide and Swap Day

Hi Community


Just a reminder that the next Cobargo Seed Savers gathering is on Wed 26th June with our annual Divide and Swap day.  This is where people get a chance to share around plants from their garden which are generally propagated from tubers, bulbs and rhizomes (rather than from seeds) e.g. rhubarb, lemongrass, strawberries, Vietnamese mint … and everyone is welcome to come along!


When? Wednesday 26th June, 10am – 12pm

Where? River and Tam’s place, 18 Blackbutt Drive Cobargo


So dig up and divide those rhubarb crowns, split those turmeric tubers, break up those yams and bring your surplus along to the Divide and Swap Day in Cobargo!   Don’t forget to bring along some bags, boxes, wetted newspapers to wrap up your goodies to take home.


We'll also be packaging up locally grown seeds from the seedbank to make these available for sale to the community for everyone to grow their own healthy food!


Coffee and tea are provided, and if you feel like bringing a plate of something to share with morning tea, that would be good too!
