Subject: [Quaama Community] Wanted - garden supplies at Quaama Relief Centre

As we move slowly along the recovery road, our needs will continue to change. With the School of Arts supper room now being set up as a drop in space supplied for numerous activities, I've been thinking about using the gravelled step down space near the supper room ramp as a repository for plants and other donated garden supplies (worm juice!!!) - pooled resources for those who can find some respite and distraction by pottering in the hall gardens for a short time each day and for those in the Quaama area to use at home.   As a start, I'll bring more herb plants down and leave there this evening.

For this to work and remain user friendly we need as many of us as possible to keep an eye on the space's tidiness and make sure donated plants are kept watered when the weather requires.

I've got grander plans around central piles of pooled compost/garden soil and mulch in the hall grounds that those who need it can come and collect and take away. Need some discussion about the storage, maintenance and logistics of these before we can action.

Thoughts?
