Hi all i know this is a little issue compared to what some people are facing. However every dollar counts when things are tight, and i just hate when multi million/billion dollar companies make money they shouldn't from the little people that they are not entitled to, . I received my electricity  bill recently and have noticed that they have charged service availability or Daily Supply charge.for the days in which the service was not available. at nilly $2 a day x (for well i dont even know lets call it) 6 days (longer in some areas) x lets say 2000 households (of which its probably more) that equals $24000 which if people are not in need of that $12 I'm sure everyone would agree they would rather that go to the RFS or people more impacted by these devastating fires.
If you have a moment bring this up with your provider so it puts pressure on them to automatically apply this correction, and donate the savings if you can spare it.
