Hello Folks,

that's about to start out of the Cobargo Co-op.
This is really good news, getting access to tools...
Anyway... read on...

===========
Hello everyone,
The Legends at the Co-op have a container of tools and equipment arriving
next week, and with a little bit of help we could be ready to lend tools to
the community by *Tuesday the 24th of March*!
Their supplier, the Independent Hardware Group, have organised a 20ft
container chock full of useful stuff.
It will be located out the back of the Co-op.
We are still hoping that the Minderoo Foundation will be able to contribute
a second container with a range of tools and equipment.
I'll include a list of probably included items at the end of this email,
but the *important thing is that for this to get off the ground *we will
need a few people to assist with site preparation on *Tuesday the 17th of
March *from 8am until (hopefully) about 10.
It will also be essential to have a few folk to be Tool Librarians, on a
voluntary basis, that could do maybe 3 hours once in a while to take care
of the loaning side of things from 8-11am at the Co-op.
This project could be an amazing asset for the Triangle community. If we
do it right it could be a long-term venture, and one that could make a real
difference for people in the area. Done right there are all sorts of
opportunities for expansion, collaboration and contribution.
If you are at all interested in assisting with this project, and could
spare that 3 hours once in a whatever, please drop me a line.
The co-op does not have the capacity to run this, so it will be a *community
run project.*
We already have a couple of visionaries that have signed up, so get on the
bus.
It is intended that the library will run on a membership basis - this will
be explained later as there is a bit to thrash out (Geoffrey?)
Thanks!
Scott, Dan, Monica.
