Dear AllYou're invited to the online launch of the Labor Environment Action Network's Far South Coast Branch. It's happening this upcoming Thursday May 28th at 5pm.Kristy McBain, Labor Candidate for Eden-Monaro and former Bega Shire Mayor will speak and answer questions about environmental policy priorities for Eden-Monaro and Australia. We will also be joined by NSW Shadow Environment Minister, Kate Washington, for Q&A.And Dave Gallan, award-winning nature photographer and film-maker will screen a short film. In 2015 LEAN put climate action back into the centre of Labor policy by delivering the Party's commitment to 50% renewable energy by 2030 and the adoption of strong emissions reduction targets. Then in 2018 LEAN ensured a commitment by federal Labor to reform the environment laws to be fit for the 21st century.
