*HELP US BUILD RENEWABLE AND RESILIENT ENERGY FOR COBARGO AND THE REGION*

Would you like to see more reliable and affordable energy for businesses,
farms, homes and authorities in Cobargo, Quaama and the surrounding
district? Interested in how this might be achieved with renewable
technology?

The Cobargo and Region Energy Transition (CaRET) team has funding from the
NSW
Department of Planning, Industry and Environment to investigate the
potential for renewable energy to provide reliable and affordable energy
for businesses, farms, homes and authorities in Cobargo, Quaama and the
surrounding district.

We need to work out how much local renewable energy and batteries are
needed to provide greater energy resilience and security in response to
short-term blackouts (eg a branch falling on a line) through to longer term
problems associated with fires and other natural disasters, extreme weather
events or climate impacts.

Please help us to collect this information by filling in this survey.
Contributions are welcome from all living in Cobargo, Quaama and the
localities, Tilba and Bermagui. The information will be kept confidential.
The more returns, the better the data. Survey will close on 27 November.

Our work is supported by the Bega Valley Shire Council.

Many thanks
Zena Armstrong
CaRET
