Friends and neighbours,

Have you heard of Primary Ethics? It provides an alternative to Scripture in some of our primary schools.
Bermagui Primary School needs some new volunteer teachers for their ethics program. Once a volunteer has done the training it takes a couple of hours each week to prepare and deliver a class each Thursday morning in term time.
It is fun getting to know the children and having fascinating discussions with them.
There is more information in the first comment below--including a link to training info.
If you are interested in training, have a look here

Alternatively respond to me thecathrenwick at gmail.com or Georgie Adamson georginascucina at gmail.com at any time.

Here’s more background on the Primary Ethics program:
Primary Ethics provides world-class philosophical ethics education for primary school children.
45,000 children currently participate in ethics classes and demand is growing rapidly as more parents choose ethics and benefit from seeing their children developing excellent reasoning and critical thinking skills. Everyone learns to disagree respectfully, to challenge ideas and to support their arguments with considered evidence rather than according to habit or peer pressure. They use these skills within the class to discuss ethical issues and consider decisions that affect them, their family and friends and the rest of the world. The world class Primary Ethics curriculum is tailored by age so that matters under discussion are relevant to your children and their world.

Hoping to hear from some of you

regards, Cath
