Good afternoon all

Here is what is happening in renewal in Quaama this week and information about activities coming up

Wednesday Drop-In 10 August
From 10am till 4pm in the supper room of Quaama School of Arts.
Ozlem will be back with 2 hours of art therapy from 1.30pm.  Screen printing likely as well as other arty supplies to play with and always enjoyable!  We’ll be having visits from our bushfire clinician and other agency staff.  Hopefully a delivery of rescue food from OzHarvest too.  All are welcome, especially newcomers to the area.  Join us for cuppas, cake and chatting, gardening, cooking, browse our books or just enjoy some time out.  Donations of excess fresh produce and plants and other garden supplies are welcome and you can leave books, CDs and DVDs in the bookshelf on the veranda anytime.  If you have other items to give away, please share this information on our community email lists and/or via Quaama Community Noticeboard on Facebook.

Badja Forest Rd Fire Oral History Project Information session Sunday 14 August
This is a joint project between Cobargo Bushfire Resilence Centre and the National Library of Australia.
From 2pm at Quaama School of Arts representatives from the National Library of Australia will be in Quaama to explain the process of oral history interviews, what happens to your stories, what control you have in the process, how the oral histories are stored and when and how they can be accessed.  They will answer any questions you may have about the project.

Unlock and write the stories you want to tell and join with a writing community to help each other achieve writing goals.
Quaama Renewal Projects presents The Writer’s Journey: a free 2-week writing course led by Cecile Bower . The course is made up of six fortnightly face to face workshops held on Wednesdays from 10am to 12pm in Quaama School of Arts, with writing supported by email contact on the alternative weeks. REgenesis a multimedia experiential event
August 20 Quaama School of Arts 11am - 4pm Live Poetry/ Spoken Word to music Performance at 1.30 pm
Where art meets community in a journey of Truth and Healing.  The Regenesis Project invites you to a multimedia experiential event– an immersion into land sea air and fire, into a cauldron of possibilities – joy, truths and suffering - a moment of witnessing our past, present and imagined futures.
