*The NSW RFS invites you to a Community Protection Planning Meeting*



*Date: 4th April*

*Time: 6-7.30pm*

*Where: Central Tilba Big Hall*

*(See attached flyer for further information)*



A MEETING FOR ALL RESIDENTS

Bush fires and grass fires impacts can be mitigated – they occur at certain
times of the year, and, depend on the prevailing conditions, however fires
can travel quickly and erratically.



This means we need to plan.



To help you get prepared for a bushfire, the RFS will lead a discussion
about:

• Where we live, what it means, what you can expect

• Bush fire survival plan

• Property preparedness and treatment options

• Contingency options.

• Vulnerable communities So come along to a session to:

• Have your questions answered

• Contribute your thoughts

• Talk about these issues with your neighbours, and

• Gain an appreciation of the role all of us must play to help prepare
ourselves and our properties against the threat of bushfire.
