*Reclink - Your Connection with Recreation Opportunities in the Bega Valley*
(Note from the SCPA News Editor: at first I was reading 'reclink' as
're-clink'', but it makes a lot more sense if read as 'rec-link'.)
Julia Robinson from Reclink writes:
Reclink is a nationwide, not-for-profit organisation that landed in the
Bega Valley after receiving funding through a Black Summer Bushfire
Recovery grant. The ethos of Reclink is that people feel better when they
are moving their bodies and making social connections.
We have loads of different programs to cater for everyone and most
activities are inclusive. Ranging from yoga to dance, tai chi to walking,
lawn bowls to balance, we have you covered!
We have also utilised local facilitators who are brilliant at what they do
– all our participants will surely testify to that. Best of all, thanks to
the grant, all programs are free!
Over the last few months, we have recruited over 250 participants all
connecting through fitness. Watching new friendships form and witnessing
people on a quest for fitness is truly a wonderful thing.
So, if you are looking to meet new people in your community, and get your
body moving, reading this is your sign!
Sign up as a participant today at Club Reclink on the Reclink website. Call
