Our motto is: the bigger the choir ... [riddle: what do you call a group of
singers?*] ... the sweeter the sound.

An off-shoot of the democratic and nurture of original songs lead by Andy
Zarins is ready to sing into life.
Quaama Area Originals Singers will have our first singing session on
Tuesday June 11 10 - 12 in our Quaama Hall.
This effort is being led by Douglas Goudie (aka Ding Gravelhead or Dr Ding).
We put on a December 2 show last December in Quaama, and had lots of fun.
Shy? we all are. Come.
Fun - endorphins, oxygen, socialising … what’s not to like … is what
motivates me.
Sharing some of my and Andy’s songs, and YOUR best songs - ones that
embrace your view of our condition and position in time and space - futures
songs is the goal. Sharing and feeling good.
If you live in the bush, live on a farm; Quaama or Brogo or Cobargo or
Bermi; even Bega, come along, bring a song. And Bring a Friend. And any
instruments. Andy showed us we can have democracy and instruments in a
community singing group. And lots of happy, uplifted. An off-shoot of the
democratic and nurture of original songs lead by Andy Zarins is ready to
sing into life. *The Andy Zarins technique of grouop* singing. Born in
hte Quaama hall. ANd guided by A recent *Tony Backhouse* Freeing the song.
We are serious about having fun.

Of the six of us signed up BEFORE this first public notice, Tuesdays, late
morning, suited most of us well. You will be very welcome. The hall is
booked ‘till 1, so there is time for a cuppa and a wind down after all the
feel good chemicals get released from the sing.
The format will be a 4 week trial. I’ll bring prerecords of a few songs;
even a prerecord warm-up. A speaker and laptop to drive the start of each
song.
The first song will be Anytime. More on the day -
Come if this resonates. If you or your songs wants to resonate too. Send me
your email to Douglas.d.goudie at gmail.com and take it from there. Or just
turn up, Tuesday 11 June. You will be most welcome. This is a new idea. A
post Covid impetus to get out more.
And if this seems to work, maybe similar for Cobargo across Saturday
lunchtime … the sing is the thing.
It don’t mean a thing if you ain’t got that sing
