The Yuin Folk Club will be presenting Chris Stout (fiddle) and Catriona
McKay (harp) in one beautiful autumn concert at the Cobargo showground
dining room at 6:30 pm on Wednesday 9 April.

This award-winning Scottish duo have performed together and individually on
the world's biggest stages across folk, classical and world music genres.
They have taken fiddle and harp, the most traditional of Scottish
instruments, and catapulted them into the contemporary world of music
making. A 30 year long telepathy sees this remarkable duo weave their way
seamlessly between glorious soundscapes and music of breathtaking
simplicity. The intense and rugged coastal scenery and the dramatic seas
that surround their respective origins in Fair Isle and Dundee are
ever-present in this unique and treasured duo sound.  Chris and Catriona’s
music charts a rhythmic and harmonic terrain that is all their own. The
result is a dynamic and adventurous sound that transcends genre yet retains
a strong sense of place.

Ahead of their performances at the Sydney Opera House and the National Folk
Festival in Canberra, Chris & Catriona will perform once only in Cobargo.
