*Cobargo Community Catch-Ups – Getting into Collective Action*
The 4th Catch-Up is on – with your hosting team from last time – Monday 9
March, 6-8pm at the Cobargo School of Arts Hall.
Once again the room was buzzing with creative, passionate energy and ideas
last Monday as we co-created working groups around issues that are
important to us.
*Here’s a taste of what came out of it: *
Cobargo Community Botanic Garden
Responsive generation
RSL requestion
Creating an exchange container/framework
Town square – don’t move the highway move the town
Cobargo Community Tree Sculpture
Cobargo Main Street
Cobargo Gardens
Cool burning
Circles of care
Water
Labyrinth
*Following are some of the projects being discussed next Monday*:
Rebuilding & expert advice
Who needs work? Who needs help? Connecting the 2
Sharing of opportunities
Does Cobargo need a theme?
Co-farming/intentional communities
White Rabbit Village
Repurpose shops
Cooperative production of food products
Cobargo Community Tree Sculpture
Where to from here?
Come along and join these discussions or bring your own passions and ideas.
We welcome all people with an interest and connection to Cobargo. We ask
you to bring your passion and responsibility - and your willingness to work
with others, to create projects and initiatives that can be put into
action. If you were not at the first Catch-up, that is fine - please come
and join us.
As we know, it will take time and effort for us to move through this crisis
and build the future we want. To do this well we all need to walk together.
We look forward to seeing you there. If you can, please bring something
small to contribute to our supper.
Please RSVP to Debra Summer to let us know if you can make it, or if you
can’t attend this time and would like to be included in the next.
