[Bermagui Community] Cobargo Seed Savers - changes next week

Hi Community Folks


Just to let you know that the Cobargo Seed Savers gathering is still going ahead next Wednesday 25th March from 10am to 12pm (venue to be confirmed).  But, we will be making some changes to minimise risks to participants in this corona virus situation.  We’ve decided to limit the group to 5 people, with the following changes to our usual way of doing things:

  1.  No greeting hugs (but cheery smiles and waves are OK!)
  2.  Package/process seeds at a distance of at least 1.5m from each other
  3.  No shared food for morning tea (boo hoo!!)
  4.  Lots of hand washing!

We’re also asking people NOT TO COME if you can say yes to any ONE of these questions:


Do you feel unwell, e.g. have a sore throat, cold/flu type symptoms?
Had any of these symptoms in the last 14 days?
Been overseas in the last 14 days?  or been in contact with anyone who’s been overseas in the last 14 days?
Been in contact with anyone who has been diagnosed with (or thinks they might have) coronavirus in the last 14 days?
Been in contact with anyone you think might have coronavirus in the last 14 days?



We'd like to keep this important community activity going, despite the corona virus environment we find ourselves in.  At the same time, we totally understand that many people would prefer to self-distance themselves from group situations in the current circumstances.  It’s up to everyone to decide for themselves.
