Hello colleagues in action

Below is a highly recommended leadership development program for people
just like us.

If you fit the focus put yourself up and forward this on to your keen
colleagues from the target communities.

It's painfully clear that our world sorely needs the best leadership
everywhere!

NOTE: EXPRESSIONS OF INTERESTS CLOSE 10 NOV - JUST 5 DAYS AWAY!

Yours in action

Dear friends and colleagues

We’re excited to be launching a unique leadership program to bring people
together from bushfire impacted communities across South East NSW to learn
skills for collaboration and positive change.

Gather ‘Round is a year-long shared leadership program to build capacity
for connected, adaptable and resilient communities. It is a partnership
between Campfire Co-op <https://www.campfire.coop/> and The Crossing Land
Education Trust <https://www.thecrossingland.org.au/>, jointly funded by
the Commonwealth and the New South Wales Government under the Disaster
Recovery Funding Arrangements.

It will cover issues such as convening important conversations, inviting
community participation, collaborating on projects to bring communities
together, working with conflict, personal leadership practices and much
more.

These are the communities selected for this pilot program, with spaces for
3 people from each:

*Bega Valley: *Towamba Valley, Bemboka, Cobargo

*Eurobodalla: *Nerrigundah/Cadgee, Mogo

*Shoalhaven: *Bawley Point

*Snowy Valleys: *Batlow, Khancoban

*Queanbeyan-Palerang: *Araluen

*Snowy Monaro: *Bombala

The program is also open to people who are working or volunteering in a
region-wide capacity across the *Bega Valley, Eurobodalla *or*
Shoalhaven* Local
Government Areas.

This is not only for recognised community leaders. It is for anyone who has
passion and care for their community. You may be a volunteer or employee in
community organisations, local not-for-profits, local business, bushfire
recovery, local government, the arts, farming, landcare, industry and more.

Please consider expressing an interest, and if you know of others in your
community who may be curious about this, please share this opportunity with
them.
