We have two special events happening at Quaama Drop-In this week.

Art Therapy with Ozlem returns from 1.30 to 3.30pm every second Wednesday.  This is free to the community and a wonderful opportunity to explore creativity with a qualified tutor.  Further sessions will be on November 2, 16, 30 and December 14

Free power and energy advice David Neyle, Community Energy Coordinator for Cobargo and District Energy Transition Group (CaDET) will be at the Drop-In from 10am till 4pm.  If you have questions about: energy bills going up; installing solar and reasonable pricing; new water technology; heating your home without it costing a fortune; electric vehicles etc., please make an appointment with David  0405-383692

Traditional Hatha Yoga with Sara Bear commences on 20 October with free sessions available in term 4 2022 and term 1 2023.  Book here https://www.eventbrite.com.au/e/traditional-hatha-yoga-with-sara-bear-tickets-412710707837   for each session you wish to attend.

Quaama Drop-in
This space at Quaama School of Arts Hall is for everyone in the community to enjoy, especially those new to the area who want to meet new friends and find out what is happening and how to get involved. As long as services continue to be available we will have them visiting our village on a Wednesday, the Drop-In remains a place where community members can get information that they need and schedule meetings with those they need to talk to.

We have free cuppas and tasty treats, meeting new people, our weekly delivery of OzHarvest rescue, sharing of garden bounty, craft activities and shared lunchtime cook-ups. If you have ideas for other activities to share on this day, please let us know. So much is possible! It would be great to have some jamming every now and again...

The Drop-In is also a day where volunteers can be involved in current hall projects, especially the restoration of the garden, finishing the supper room renovations, painting the kitchen and more including general maintenance and cleaning. Our lovely old building has given us so much since the fire so it is well past time to give her back some care and - with the projects underway and planned - there's ample opportunity for you all to get involved.
