SCPA Publication Opportunities
SCPA has an amazing opportunity for anyone who is interested in writing and publishing a book* about any of the things we stand for here at SCPA. Maybe you’ve already written a book and don’t know how to get it published. If so then we’d like to hear from you.
* A "book" does not have to involve a huge volume of writing. It could be quite a small booklet containing organised print and other information conveyed in images, diagrams etc.
SCPA has an account with an online self publication system called Lulu Press which allows us to upload, promote and sell these books. People can choose to purchase a digital copy of your book instantly to read on their computers, iPads, phones and kindles, or choose to pay a little more and have a printed paperback copy of the book posted to them.

The way it works is this;
You write the book, we publish it via our own online self-publication system, then we promote it via our website, SCPA News and other avenues. The SCPA IT team can provide assistance in the formatting of files and the creation of the cover.
The above titles were written for SCPA with the help of a grant, so SCPA receives the income from sales. Some potential authors have indicated that they would donate the income to SCPA. Other arrangements are possible.
